Privacy and Security
LDM is covered by a robust Professional Liability Insurance Policy, as well as Cyber Insurance to protect any sensitive data against any hacks, spyware or cyber incidents.
LDM only utilizes secure channels of communication through Box to share confidential documents that contain the firm’s proprietary or client data.
LDM utilizes a VPN for all employees to add an extra layer of cybersecurity protection of all firms’ data and thoroughly vets potential employees. Employees are only given access to sensitive information on an as-needed basis and are required to abide by strenuous privacy policies and a code of ethics.
LDM shall make every effort to keep all confidential data safe and secure using only encrypted communications such as internal email or encrypted cloud-based data sharing and storage. LDM will use its best efforts to keep all communications secure under all applicable laws and professional standards and utilize the latest and best cybersecurity practices as well as software protection.
Investment Advisers should recognize that we do not always have control over unauthorized interception of communications once they have been sent and you consent to use of electronic methods.
LDM has adopted this privacy policy with recognition that protecting the privacy and security of the personal information we obtain about our clients is an important responsibility. We also know that you expect us to service you in an accurate and efficient manner. To do so, we must collect and maintain certain personal information about you.
We want you to know what information we collect and how we use and safeguard that information.
Information We Collect: We collect certain nonpublic information about you (“Customer Information”). The essential purpose for collecting Customer Information is to allow us to provide advisory services to you.
Customer Information we collect may include:
Information that you provide on applications or other forms.
Identifying personal and business information such as your and your employees’ name, age, address, social security number, business EIN, business financials, etc.
Information we receive from regulatory agencies and systems, such as FINRA, EDGAR and the SEC
Security of Your Information: We restrict access to your nonpublic personal information to those employees who need to know that information to service your account. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable federal or state standards to protect your nonpublic personal information.
Information We Disclose: As required or permitted by law, we disclose the nonpublic personal information we collect about our clients: (i) to persons necessary to effect the transactions and provide the services that our clients authorize, such as preparing regulatory filings.
Information We Disclose to Affiliated Third Parties: Outside of what is allowed by law, we do not disclose non-public information to affiliated third parties without your consent.
Former Clients: If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive client, we will adhere to our privacy policies, which may be amended from time to time.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy: In the event there were to be a material change to our privacy policy regarding how we use your confidential information, we will provide written notice to you. Where applicable, you would be given an opportunity to limit or opt-out of such disclosure arrangements.

Legal Information
Neither LDM nor any affiliate of LDM will provide legal advice or representation to Investment Advisers.
Any engagement with an attorney that is necessary is at the Investment Adviser’s expense. LDM does not engage or communicate with Investment Adviser’s clients in any capacity.
LDM is a provider of back office compliance services and operates on an independent contractor basis, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in our contract, which can be provided upon request.
